# Commands & Exports

Commands, exports and common questions for ace\_helmetcam.

## Commands

| Command        | Permission                     | Available when         | Description                        |
| -------------- | ------------------------------ | ---------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| `/helmetcam 0` | No permission option in config | `AllowCommands = true` | Uses the **right**-mounted camera. |
| `/helmetcam 1` | No permission option in config | `AllowCommands = true` | Uses the **left**-mounted camera.  |

The command name can be changed with `HelmetCamCommand`.

## Exports

### ActivateRightCameraPov

**Side:** Client · **Parameters:** none

Uses the right-mounted camera POV.

```lua
exports['ace_helmetcam']:ActivateRightCameraPov()
```

### ActivateLeftCameraPov

**Side:** Client · **Parameters:** none

Uses the left-mounted camera POV.

```lua
exports['ace_helmetcam']:ActivateLeftCameraPov()
```

## FAQ

Check that `Config.AllowCommands = true`, and include the camera number: `/helmetcam 0` (right) or `/helmetcam 1` (left).

<summary>Can I use it with qb-inventory or another inventory?</summary>

Yes. Any inventory that can run a client export when an item is used can call `ActivateRightCameraPov` or `ActivateLeftCameraPov`.
